The country side in the low lying lands is indeed lovely. I love the wideness of the ‘polders’, the big skies, the canals and, in this case, the river Hollandse IJssel, one of the river Rhine ‘arms’ wich together with the river Meuse shapes the delta that the western part of the Netherlands realy is. Dank je wel! De wandeling was een lusje van Oudewater naar Hekendorp (Goejanverwelle (van de sluis)) en terug. De toren staat in Oudewater.
