I wish you the same Beth. I did have marsipan in my shoe this morning (piece of a pink pig 🙂 ) and the peppernuts (duh 🙂 ) are in a bowl on the table. Now only the schuimpjes fail, but I’ll make that up coming christmas.
Oh how lovely Peter! I miss the songs, that atmosphere of Holland. Because of the weather, and the loss, we couldn’t go for shopping… The presents for my son are awaiting for tomorrow if he can come home…Sad really…Enjoy all the same. They do it tomorrow here. 6 December…Ha ha!
Je weet de sfeer wle weer te vangen he. Die vrouw met kinderwagen in die nieuwbouwwijk.Wat een ongezellige huizen maar geweldige foto. De gouden uur foto doet het goed en die met die scooter heeft ook een lekker sfeertje.
Dank je wel Liesbeth. Dat buurtje met die strakke huizen is maar een paar straten groot en op de een of andere manier is er altijd mooi licht. Op die scooter foto heb ik een tijdje staan wachten en wat meer pogingen gedaan tot er eentje aardig gelukt is.
Love the mixture of farm and urban photos in this collage, especially your composition in 11-2. Are both a part of your neighborhood or did you have to extend your walk to capture the farm land?
Thank you! The meadow is at the southern border of my neighbourhood and actually the city itself (and I do admit I consider my neighbourhood a little larger than some might do 🙂 ) Dutch cities are rather compact with clear borders between housing and ‘the country’. I am lucky to live about a 10 minutes walk to farm land and about a 25 minutes walk to city centre. Best of both worlds.
Ik denk dat ook veel huidige stadjers hier niet veel of helemaal niets van zullen herkennen 🙂 Het is allemoal ain beetie Helpman en erom heen. Stad veraandert ja doagelijks. En dat mout ook. Stilstoan is dood in ’t potje. 🙂
